Sworn in the USA

I had a flash of inspiration about how the sworn in the USA tagline could look as a logo, and so decided to try it out.

If you want to use them, help yourself:

Here’s the source if you think it can be improved:

What’s with the flag? The stars-and-stripes coupled with the ammo-crate font makes it look like some sort of military camp!

I don’t really get the ’sworn’ thing either - I realise it’s some sort of tweak on a Bruce Springsteen song.

The lines in the ’sworn’ word itself look good though.

The flag is because the event is (for the first time) in the USA. The ammo crate font was used for the last two LugRadio events in the UK, so I thought I’d keep it.

Sworn is, as you say, a reference to the Bruce Springsteen song, but it’s also a play on the fact that LugRadio contains a significant amount of, er, _mature_ content. :)
